After enthralling audiences with her performance in A Thursday last year, Yami Gautam is all geared up for her upcoming release. Titled ‘Lost’, the movie is directed by Aniruddha Roy Chowdhury (Pink fame) and will have its direct-to-digital premiere on Zee5.
The trailer begins with Yami Gautam’s character Vidhi asking herself what is important for a reporter – truth or what is right? She is on a mission to uncover the truth behind the disappearance of a young theatre activist, Ishan Bharati, played by Tushar Pandey.
She is determined to find out what really happened to him, which eventually leads her to discover a series of dark secrets in his past. She unearths a connection with an extremist group and his girlfriend, Ankita played by Pia Bajpiee.
As her investigation gains traction, she uncovers deeper and hidden truths that can pose a threat to her life. She comes across several enemies who want her killed and are ready to stop at nothing to do so.
Yami Gautam is a spunky crime reporter and she doesn’t back down from her hunt for the truth even when she has to face danger. She is ruthless and her determination is unmatched.
Her detective skills help her unravel a mystery about Ishan and it soon becomes clear that there is a conspiracy involved in the case. However, as she starts to investigate further, her work is put at stake when she meets a local politician who continues to obstruct her search.
