If you are a fan of Bollywood, then you might be aware of actor Nora Fatehi. She has been making headlines ever since she was linked to the Rs 200 crore money laundering case involving the shady businessman Sukesh Chandrashekhar. Since then, she has been making the rounds on the media – and she has even been seen hanging out with Shah Rukh Khan’s son Aryan. However, her claims are not all roses.
The tangled web has been woven with a lot of high-profile names. In addition to Sukesh and Nora, the ED has also caught up with Jacqueline Fernandez. This has forced her to put up an exemption plea. Moreover, she has been summoned to the court more than a few times. Despite the fact that the Enforcement Directorate has not been able to nail her for the crime of stealing a million rupees from a bank, she has managed to secure an exemption in the process.
As far as her claims are concerned, the only thing that she has actually done is recorded fresh statements in relation to the extortion case. That being said, her claims have been rebutted time and again by the accused. One of the biggest questions of the day is whether or not the accused will be able to prove their claims. Nonetheless, the ED has already issued warrants for the arrest of two people – including the former actress. Apparently, a third suspect is on the verge of being apprehended.
The most important thing to note here is that Sukesh Chandrashekhar has broken his silence on the matter. He has not only responded to Nora Fatehi’s statement, he has also provided proof of his own to the authorities. His latest claim involves a BMW S series vehicle, which he gifted to Nora. Interestingly, Sukesh has also shared screenshots of the car with the ED’s enforcement team.
The aforementioned is only the tip of the iceberg though. Besides the car and its functions, the ED has also seized screenshots of other shady activities related to the case. For instance, they have questioned the actress and have reportedly scouted her home. Additionally, they have found out that Sukesh and Nora were engaged in several other esoteric shady activities. Indeed, the court is likely to hear the case on March 25, which is exactly one month from now. And although it will be hard to weed out the good guys from the bad, the judge will be well equipped to make a fair decision. Regardless, the proceedings are bound to be interesting.
Among other things, it is also worth noting that Nora Fatehi and Sukesh are currently locked in a legal battle. Although their arguments have been adjourned for now, the hearing will resume on February 15. It is expected that they will be in the courtroom once again, this time for the grand daddy of them all – the hearing on the extortion case.
