South siren Samantha Ruth Prabhu starrer Shaakuntalam which was scheduled to release on February 17 has been postponed. According to reports, the film is now slated to hit theatres in March.
Directed by Gunasekhar, Shaakuntalam is based on the play Abhigyanam Shakuntalam by poet Kalidasa. Featuring Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Dev Mohan, the mythological movie is set to be released in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada.

The film is a multilingual mythological drama and will be released in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada. It also features a large number of celebrities in prominent roles. It has music by Mani Sharma and cinematography is done by Shekar V Joseph.
