Sara Ali Khan quits The Collective to join Karan Johar and Bunty Sajdeh’s DCA

It is official, Sara Ali Khan has finally penned her name on the marquee, having parted ways with her previous management agency, The Collective. Now, the Bollywood star is set to embark on a new journey under the aegis of the Dharma Cornerstone Agency, a brand led by famed filmmaker Karan Johar and celebrity PR guru Bunty Sajdeh.

Sara Ali Khan starred in a number of films over the last five years, including Kedarnath, Atrangi Re and Love Aaj Kal 2. She is all set to slay in upcoming film Zara Hatke Zara Bachke with Vicky Kaushal and is also working on a period drama in the pipeline. And if you’re wondering who she will be working with next, her co-star Vicky Kaushal and director Dinesh Vijan are the ones.

The aforementioned DCA has a long list of star performers under its wing, ranging from Tiger Shroff and Ananya Panday to Vijay Deverakonda and Tammanaah Bhatia. For a long time now, it has been considered as the best Bollywood PR agency. This has come about because of its strategic brand building skills and the aforementioned long list of star performers.

In fact, it has been a raging debate whether or not the aforementioned DCA has the star power to compete with the likes of Yash Raj Films and Mumbai based talent acquisition firm DHA. However, the latest addition to the Dharma line up is a young and promising actor named Ibrahim. Known as the sexiest man in the business, he is reportedly Karan Johar’s first choice to assist him in a number of his films. Interestingly, he is said to have joined the company in the role of assistant director, and if the buzz around the upcoming release of Simmba is any indication, he will be a hot commodity in no time at all.

While we are still waiting to hear of the aforementioned actress’s new projects, the aforementioned DCA has a number of other noteworthy names on its books, including Siddharth Malhotra, Varun Dhawan and Tahir Raj Bhasin. Besides, it is a fact that many other Bollywood stars have parted ways with their respective PR agencies for better opportunities.

The aforementioned DCA is likely to become the benchmark for artist management in the country. Having been a leader in the talent management arena for over a decade, the agency has successfully represented several prominent entertainment talents such as Aamir Khan and Salman Khan. Meanwhile, the agency is a leading force in the sports business as well, with a number of athletes and sporting personalities on its books.

The aforementioned DCA has been the ottum for the ‘Kedarnath’ and ‘Atrangi Re’ diva. Hence, it is expected that the company will also manage her upcoming films, such as the recently released Zara Hatke Zara Bachke. But with her recent split, the star will have to wait for a while before she can focus on her upcoming project. On the other hand, her co-stars and directors will be in her corner, if not for the duration of the movie, then at least for its release.
