T-Series Acquires Music Rights For Bilingual Film Varisu

The Tamil-Tamil film, directed by Vamshi Paidipally, has already set a record before its release. Recently, news broke about the business of the film, which included satellite and audio rights worth Rs 50 crore. In addition, Amazon prime video has closed a deal for digital streaming rights worth Rs 60 crore.

The film is currently in the filming stage and will be made simultaneously in Tamil and Telugu. The film will be produced by Dil Raju’s Sri Venkateswara Creations and stars Rashmika Mandanna. The film will be distributed through Amazon Prime Video and Anbuchezian’s Gopuram Cinemas in Tamil Nadu.

The film’s music composer, Thaman S., has also acquired the music rights for the film. The film is a bilingual action drama, directed by Vamshi Paidipally, and stars Vijay and Rashmika Mandanna. Other cast members include Yogi Babu, Sarath Kumar, and Prabhu. It is slated for Pongal 2023 release.

T-Series is an Indian film production and music label. They specialize in Bollywood and Indi-pop music. The company is the country’s largest music record label, followed by Sony Music India. Their YouTube channel has more than 225 million subscribers and over 201 billion total views as of 16 September 2022.
