The latest to join the cast of Thalapathy 67, which is helmed by ‘Vikram’ fame Lokesh Kanagaraj and produced by Seven Screen Studio, is Evergreen beauty Trisha Krishnan. The ‘Athadu’ actress is on board after Sanjay Dutt, Priya Anand and Arjun Sarja were announced earlier.
Fans are ecstatic to hear that trisha is joining the star-studded ensemble of Vijay’s upcoming movie. According to reports, the ‘Ghilli’ and ‘Kuruvi’ actress is playing the female lead opposite Vijay in this project, which is being shot in Kashmir.
Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt will be seen playing the villain in this project. He has already made a mark in Tamil cinema with the blockbuster ‘KGF Chapter 2’, which starred Sunny Singh and Mouni Roy.
Actress Trisha has been roped in to play the leading lady of this film, which is being directed by ‘Master’ director Lokesh Kanagaraj. She has been considered as one of the best on-screen pairs of Vijay, and this is her fifth collaboration with him.
The ‘Kuruvi’ pair have worked in several films together and they are expected to come up with romantic sequences in this film. In addition to them, Gautham Menon, Mysskin, Sanjay Dutt, and Mansoor Ali Khan are also playing key roles in this movie.
Music composer Anirudh Ravichander will be composing the score for this movie and the cinematography is being handled by Manoj Paramahamsa. The film is being produced by S S Lalit Kumar and Jagadish Palanisamy under the banner of Seven Screen Studio.
In a recent video posted by 7 Screen Studio, the production house revealed that Trisha will romance Vijay in this film after 14 years. The studio also shared an announcement poster with a quote from the two superstars.
Fans are thrilled to know that Vijay and Trisha will be on screen together after 14 years in this project. As per sources, the film is going to be a gangster-themed thriller and will have a few scenes of romance between them.
Trisha is the latest in a long line of Tamil heroines to be romanced by Vijay and this will definitely be an epic pairing! She has been on the scene for many years and this will be her 5th collaboration with him.
‘Master’ director Lokesh has said that there will be some romantic scenes between the two stars in this film, and that they will be doing some car racing and action scenes.
